As an artist, my work can be chaotic at times, but at other moments, it is humorous and meaningful. I was born in Wisconsin and raised in New Delhi, but I identify primarily as a world citizen.
My artistic practice often centers on spontaneity and exploration, with my concepts evolving as I read, watch films, and engage in conversations with those around me. Within this unconstrained spontaneity as the backdrop, I feel comfortable delving into themes of identity, transience, and escape. My work often reflects the flow of the world, with a special interest in decay, the grotesque, and the morbid. What is the zero-level of human life? Where do the impossible objects and lost beings go? To go till the brink is a wager and yearning for me—to try and see things on the other side. By exploring the bizarre and the uncanny, I invite the audience to connect with the voices of the forgotten and unheard creatures of the world.
