Continuing the series centered around horses, the second movie explores the relationship between the companion and the creature. The story primarily unfolds through their conversations and examines how their bond relates to each of their roles.
Both characters experience confusion about their identities and situations. However, they eventually come to an agreement to explore what it means to be a creature in their world. Neither side emerges victorious; both are lonely yet driven by hope in this
This semester, I’ll be exploring the world of horses, from their voice to their story and ultimate fate.
How do humans perceive horses in our society?
This intro video delves into the lives of horses, highlighting their treatment and the parallels between animals and slaves – used, abused, and often forgotten.
This short movie is a perspective from the horse.
It was ironic because my project focused on isolation, yet I was breaking my barrier by speaking to people for the first time. My younger self would never have done that! I realized that if you don’t talk to people, they won’t talk to you. However, once you do engage with them, a whole new world opens up, and you discover how much they want to share. I interviewed individuals from Russia, tarot card readers, chess players, and musicians.
For this project, I thought it would be interesting to make a film about time itself. Do we work with the clock? Or conversely, do seasons or almanacs decide the time for us? Perhaps time is all around us. It whirls around people and spaces in a circular motion. Time haunts human beings even as they complete their chores and duties in the urban world.

Are we besieged by our own artificial creations? The face is gradually being surrounded by boundaries. The initial thought was to use only paper clips. In the second stage, I added straightforward facial features in white acrylic. In the final stage, I discarded the painted eyes and replaced those with paper binders to preserve the poignancy and the three-dimensionality of the mask.

This is part of a campaign on “Unity in Diversity” that my school participated in. I chose the theme of generosity. In India, much like in many other parts of the world during the dreaded COVID-19 period, many doctors sacrificed their lives on duty. In order to depict the intuitive gratitude towards the medical profession, I chose the metaphor of a fetus floating in amniotic fluid.

This is where you will find me. I have filled a set of scrapbooks since 2017. I am an avid film watcher. The scrapbook is in the form of a dairy to my inner world. The pages in the scrapbook show my immediate response to the individual films —through scribbles, jottings, and dabs of color — trying to capture the predominant ideas that influenced me at that time.
